Please describe your blog

It is a general platform that answers some of the questions people ask me when I'm out at shows or exhibitions. I try to aim it towards the more novice painter or just a general person who is curious.

Describe the main purpose of your blogging, what are you trying to accomplish?

Just a quick way to connect with people who want more info on what I do, and why. People can check out my website, but if they are curious as to the person behind it, the blog provides that aspect.

What blogging platform do you do and why?

I use blogger because it was friendly to people and I'm not that computer savy

What do you blog the most about?

paintings I'm in progress with and what's happening with it as I work through the project

What kind of blogs make you angry?

Blogs that are rude and treat people like tey have the IQ of their shoe size

I'm a novice blogger so my tips are not much: - keep it light - use humor - give information people could use - keep it fairly short - use pictures

What are some things you would NEVER blog about?

garbage stuff that is not family appropriate

Did you start blogging for the purpose of making money and if so, are you making enough money?

No, just wanting to add an angle to my website that compliments it

2 months?

About how many hours per day do you spend blogging?

Try to do every week or so. So not many hours I guess

Just learning how to do that

Not sure what it is

Have not heard of this one

What promotional techniques work best for you and why?

Website, facebook and word of mouth. Why? lets me tell more than my local comunity what is going on

If you could post a blog on any blog in the world, which one would it be and why?

No idea

What mistakes have you made that you could warn others about?

Letting venues have my work for decor and they promise to treat them well, even let people know they are for sale. Liars all!
