    A small town in the province of Laguna, called Paete, is located in the Philippines. Famous for its world class sculptures that are normally done upon any particular surface that one can possibly imagine.

    Give one of these residents, simply a rock, wood, a piece of metal, even ice and one can surely bet that the people of this magnificent culture will transform them into very good pieces if art.

    Paete is actually derived from the Filipino word for chisel. This is actually the very tool that is used for sculpting.
