The Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach, California, can now look forward to a more secure future after it got an endowment of $25 million from the estate of its founder, Dr. Robert Gumbiner.
According to the terms of the bequest, the museum is only allowed to spend the earnings of the endowment for its operating expenses, while 10% of these earnings should be put back into the endowment.
