The story of how Vietnam fought during the war is really painful. I was able to go to their War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh City and also to the Chu Chi Tunnel last year and it was a real eye opener for me.
Admittedly, the museum is one sided, but just seeing the effects of the war on the women and children is enough to make your heart bleed.
It's good to know that Vietnam has survived that dark stage in its history and is now regarded as a great tourist destination.
