There was a time when art was limited to work on canvass or murals or photographs. Now art could mean any work done on any medium or any surface, using any material.
Take the 2 artworks that the Dorky Museum bought, for instance. "Carrying Pistol Packing Pupils" is made of 50 digital prints on aluminum and steel while "Available" is a multimedia project that has archival pigment prints. Kinda hard to imagine, really.
Nevertheless, one thing will remain the same forever and that is the fact that art, like beauty, would always be in the eyes of the beholder.
