Most of the people find it hard to appreciate the abstract art-form in visual arts like in paintings.
They just tend to see what 3-year-old can do with a pen and paper and freely doodles it. Abstract is an art movement that gives its creator more freedom on their works and they can express anything. It could also have a little to no connection to the physical world.
